 introduction Admissions

Applications are accepted from qualified men and women who are interested in a nursing career and who meet the requirements outlined below.  Equal opportunity is offered to all applicants regardless of age,  sex,  marital status,  religious beliefs,   disability,  race, color,  national or ethnic origin,  or political affiliation.  Applications will not be considered until prerequisites are completed or unless a reasonable plan for completion is submitted with the application.   All prerequisites must be completed prior to the Fall semester for either Fall or Spring enrollment.

Admission Procedure

Admission is based on a review of the overall application as an indication of potential for success in nursing and in the school's academic program.  Students enter with a variety of educational and life experiences; therefore all facets of their backgrounds are considered in making admission decisions.

Acceptance

The application deadline for Fall entrance is January 15 with notification of acceptance status in April. Applications received after January 15 will be reviewed only if openings remain. Applications are reviewed by members of the Admissions and Evaluations Committee. Each application is considered on an individual basis.

A reservation fee is required to hold a place in the class.
