Financial Assistance for Native Americans

Students who are members of the several Indian tribes located within New York State and who are residents of a reservation,  may be eligible to apply for a grant through the state’s Native American Education Unit.  Information and/or an application may be obtained by writing to:

Our Mission: The mission of the Ellis Hospital School of Nursing is to prepare the Associate degree graduate for Registered Professional Nurse licensure. The graduate will function as a beginning nurse who provides safe, competent, compassionate nursing care to maximize the health and well being of all people served.
